The 3-Position Toggle Valve offers the highest flow rate of the Pneumadyne valve line. This dual function product contains two valves in one body with a common input and common exhaust. To fit application requirements, they can be used as independent 2-Way and 3-Way valves or as a 4-Way (5/3) with an Open Center.

TECH TIPS: POPPETS VS. SPOOL VALVES - WHY VALVE TYPE MATTERS


When selecting 2-Way and 3-Way valves for your pneumatic circuit, be sure to take the internal design of the valve into consideration. Though the function is overall the same, use of a poppet or a spool valve can impact your you application in unforeseen ways.

Both valve types boast their own advantages. Poppet valves provide faster response times and a higher flow rate. Spool valves can be used in a vacuum and are not affected by pressure, requiring less force to actuate the valve.
